Textron Aviation to deliver 48 Cessna Skyhawk aircraft for BAA training

With the ambitious goal of reaching a capacity of 500-1000 students annually, BAA Training’s acquisition of 48 Cessna Skyhawk aircraft is a significant step toward realizing this milestone. 

Textron Aviation, At the Dubai Airshow sealed a significant deal with BAA Training for the acquisition of 48 Cessna Skyhawk aircraft, scheduled for delivery in 2026. This strategic move is set to substantially enhance BAA Training’s existing fleet, providing increased capacity for students, streamlining flight training processes, and elevating the overall student experience. The agreement solidifies the longstanding relationship between Textron Aviation and BAA Training, marking a strategic partnership to meet the growing demand for pilot training.

With the ambitious goal of reaching a capacity of 500-1000 students annually, BAA Training’s acquisition of 48 Cessna Skyhawk aircraft is a significant step toward realizing this milestone. The expanded fleet will be pivotal in accommodating the rising demand for aviation training. The Cessna Skyhawk, designed and manufactured by Textron Aviation, has a rich legacy of over six decades as a reliable flight trainer. Its stable flight characteristics, advanced avionics, and proven reliability make it an ideal platform for pilot training.
