Textron Aviation has delivered the 500th Cessna Citation CJ4, marking more than a decade of production for the light business jet. The milestone aircraft, a CJ4 Gen2, was delivered to a customer in the Philippines.
The CJ4 is used for business travel and other missions, including special-mission operations. The 500th delivery comes as Textron Aviation prepares for the next version, the Citation CJ4 Gen3.
The CJ4 Gen3 is expected to receive FAA certification in 2026. Its flight-test program has accumulated more than 880 flight hours across two test aircraft.
