Tecnam has delivered a P2006T NG SPORT twin-engine aircraft to BA FLIGHT in Argentina, adding the aircraft to the school’s existing fleet of Tecnam P2002 and P2008 aircraft.
The delivery brings BA FLIGHT’s Tecnam fleet to five aircraft and expands its multi-engine training capability. The P2006T NG SPORT will be used for training in both VFR and IFR operations, including cross-country flights.
The addition of the aircraft expands the school’s maintenance and support requirements across its Tecnam fleet. The aircraft will also operate alongside the school’s existing single-engine aircraft, giving the operator a mixed fleet with different maintenance and technical support requirements.
“BA Flight’s fleet continues to grow! With the arrival of a new aircraft, the school strengthens its quality in aeronautical training and enhances its brand presence,” highlighted Franco Smeriglio, CSO at Tecnam’s regional partner Aerotec Group.
David Vazquez, Head of Training at BA FLIGHT, said the P2006T NG SPORT will support the school’s multi-engine programme and provide students with experience on a modern glass-cockpit aircraft.
“Incorporating the P2006T NG SPORT into our fleet is a true game-changer for our multi-engine programs. This aircraft offers our students an incredibly smooth transition to modern, glass-cockpit flying, combining outstanding safety with unparalleled operational efficiency. It directly supports our mission to elevate the standard of instruction we provide to the next generation of airline pilots,” Vazquez added.

The aircraft is supported in the region by Aerotec Argentina, which provides Tecnam aircraft services in Latin America.
Walter Da Costa, Chief Sales Officer at Tecnam, said the delivery reflects the company’s growing presence in Latin America and the role of regional partners such as Aerotec Argentina in supporting the expansion of flight training fleets.
