Talon Precision, Inc. has acquired Baron Machine Company, Inc., a third-generation aerospace and defense manufacturer based in Laconia, New Hampshire, expanding its precision manufacturing capabilities and presence in the northeastern United States.
The transaction was completed on August 19, 2026. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Baron Machine has established a reputation for precision manufacturing across New England’s aerospace corridor. The company offers a broad range of capabilities, including CNC milling, turning and grinding, as well as in-house welding, metal fabrication and assembly.
Its integrated manufacturing model enables customers to source finished components and built-up assemblies from a single supplier. While aerospace and defense represent its primary markets, Baron Machine also serves customers in the medical, commercial and electronics sectors.
The company’s manufacturing operations are supported by an established quality and compliance framework. Baron Machine is AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certified, ITAR registered, and compliant with NIST 800-171 cybersecurity requirements. Its climate-controlled inspection laboratory also supports material traceability and quality control.
For Talon Precision, the acquisition strengthens its manufacturing footprint in the Northeast while adding capabilities suited to the highly regulated and reliability-focused requirements of aerospace and defense programmes.
Jeremy Baron, owner and president of Baron Machine, will continue to lead the company following the acquisition.
“Baron Machine has been a family-owned business for three generations, and the way we treat our people, our customers, and our craft has never changed,” Baron said. He added that Talon Precision was selected as a partner because of its alignment with the company’s values and its resources to support long-term growth.

Talon Precision said it plans to continue investing in Baron Machine and support its ability to undertake increasingly demanding and regulated manufacturing programmes while maintaining its existing operations and workforce.
Kyle Veatch, chief strategy officer of Talon Precision, described Baron Machine as an example of American manufacturing expertise and said the company fits closely with Talon Precision’s broader growth strategy.
The acquisition further expands Talon Precision’s position in precision manufacturing and adds established aerospace and defense production capabilities to its portfolio as demand for highly regulated, domestically produced components continues to grow.
