Swiss AS launches AMOSeTL for MRO streamlining

Swiss AS launches AMOSeTL for MRO streamlining.
AMOSeTL is a paperless aircraft maintenance operations system that replaces the traditional paper-based Technical Log System.

Swiss-AS’, one of the esteemed customer SunExpress is scheduled to go live with AMOSeTL in October 2023, becoming the first airline to implement this innovative solution.

Swiss-AS, a leading provider of aviation maintenance software, is celebrating a significant milestone with the release of AMOSeTL in AMOS version 23.6. This marks the culmination of the AMOSeTL project, which has been in development for the past two years. SunExpress, one of Swiss-AS’s esteemed customers, is scheduled to go live with AMOSeTL in October 2023, becoming the first airline to implement this innovative solution.

AMOSeTL is a paperless aircraft maintenance operations system that replaces the traditional paper-based Technical Log System. SunExpress’s implementation of AMOSeTL is the final phase of its “Paperless Aircraft Maintenance Operations Project ” and demonstrates the airline’s commitment to improving efficiency and sustainability.

One of the key advantages of AMOSeTL is its unique integration capabilities. Unlike other solutions, AMOSeTL offers a streamlined and plug-and-play integration experience, eliminating the complexities and costs associated with configuring complex interfaces. This seamless integration ensures that data flows effortlessly between different modules, providing real-time updates and enabling efficient collaboration between pilots, mechanics, cabin crew, and back-office staff.

For example, when a pilot opens a Pilot Report (PIREP), AMOSeTL instantly generates a work order in AMOS, the maintenance system. Defect closures or deferrals by the maintenance team are automatically synchronized with AMOS, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information across the system. This two-way communication ensures that everyone has access to the most current data, whether online or offline, as AMOSeTL can operate offline for multiple legs and automatically syncs data with AMOS when connectivity is restored.

Swiss-AS is committed to continuous improvement and has a roadmap in place to regularly update and enhance AMOSeTL. With ongoing support and new customers coming on board, AMOSeTL aims to remain the preferred choice for AMOS customers seeking an electronic technical logbook solution.
