STS Aviation Services has received GCAA CAR-145 C6 Equipment Rating approval from the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) for its Dubai CommerCity facility.
The approval, issued under GCAA CAR-145 Approval Number UAE.145.0101, allows the facility to carry out approved component maintenance activities within the C6 equipment category.
The new rating expands STS Aviation Services’ component maintenance capability in Dubai and supports its wider MRO operations in the Middle East. The facility is located near Dubai International Airport, providing access to operators across the UAE and the wider region.

The approval adds C6 component maintenance capability to STS Aviation Services’ existing MRO operations and enables more component work to be performed locally in Dubai.
