STS Aviation Group appoints Eduardo Amato as CFO

STS Aviation Group has announced the appointment of Eduardo Amato as its new CFO, strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it continues to expand its global aviation services platform. Amato joins STS Aviation Group with more than 20 years of senior finance leadership experience and a strong track record in building scalable financial operations, integrating acquisitions, enhancing enterprise systems, and driving disciplined growth across complex service organizations.

Before joining STS Aviation Group, Amato served in CFO roles at MRS-CMC and American Elevator Group and held multiple finance leadership positions at Schindler Elevator Corporation. Throughout his career, he has led initiatives involving enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation, acquisition integration, shared services development, treasury management, financial planning, pricing strategy, working capital optimization, and operational restructuring.

“Eduardo is the right financial leader for this stage of STS Aviation Group’s growth,” said PJ Anson, CEO of STS Aviation Group. “He brings deep experience inside complex, multi-site service organizations and has a proven ability to build the systems, controls, and financial visibility that growing companies need. His leadership will help us move faster, make better decisions, and continue building STS the right way.”

Amato holds an MBA from Penn State University, a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University, and completed postgraduate studies in Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) at UniFae in Brazil. He is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Commenting on his appointment, Amato said he is excited to join a company with a strong foundation and significant growth potential.

“STS Aviation Group has built a strong global platform with a clear path for continued growth,” he said. “I look forward to supporting that growth by strengthening financial systems, improving visibility, and helping the business scale with focus, discipline, and accountability.”

Born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, Amato moved to the United States in 1996 and currently resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

His appointment comes as STS Aviation Group continues to expand its capabilities across aircraft maintenance, engineering, material support, and workforce management, serving aviation customers worldwide with a broad range of technical and operational services.
