StandardAero is the T56 engine depot for multiple international defense forces, including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, and several allied nations.

StandardAero has been selected for the MRO contract due to its extensive experience with the T56 engine family.

The U.S. Navy has awarded StandardAero a $315.7 million contract to perform depot-level maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for Rolls-Royce T56-A-427A engines, which support the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft. The contract spans a base year plus four option years.StandardAero has been servicing the T56-A-427A engines since 2021 as a subcontractor to Rolls-Royce. Their continued selection for this role is attributed to their extensive experience and proven track record with the T56 engine family. With more than 50 years of industry experience, StandardAero is recognized for having the most comprehensive overhaul and repair capabilities for the T56 engines globally.
