StandardAero will conduct Starlink installations on these platforms from its aircraft service centers of excellence in Van Nuys, CA, and Springfield, IL.

StandardAero has become an authorized dealer and installer of SpaceX’s Starlink on select business jets capitalizing on Starlink’s recent approvals for FAA STC’s, applying to a range of aircraft like the Gulfstream and Bombardier models.

StandardAero, a prominent provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services for business aircraft, has forged an agreement with SpaceX’s Starlink to become an authorized dealer and installer of the company’s high-speed internet product on select business jet aircraft. This partnership capitalizes on Starlink’s recent approvals for FAA supplemental type certificates (STCs), which apply to a range of aircraft including Gulfstream and Bombardier models. StandardAero will conduct Starlink installations on these platforms from its aircraft service centers of excellence in Van Nuys, CA, and Springfield, IL, both specializing in long-range jet maintenance.

StandardAero’s inclusion of Starlink in its suite of connectivity solutions for various business aircraft platforms reflects the increasing demand for high-speed internet access onboard. Starlink stands out as the first and largest satellite constellation in low Earth orbit, capable of delivering high-speed, low-latency internet anywhere around the globe, catering to the connectivity needs of aircraft passengers.

“Our new relationship with Starlink echoes the commitment we have made to our customers to provide them with the latest advancements in technology available for their aircraft, and demonstrates the trusted industry expertise we have in providing avionics services and support,” said Tony Brancato, Business Aviation president, StandardAero.

As a Starlink dealer, StandardAero will also provide installation support for upcoming STCs awaiting approval, extending its services to additional Bombardier and Gulfstream aircraft models. These include Bombardier Global 5000, 6500, and 7500, as well as Challenger 300/350/3500 and Gulfstream GIV aircraft.

“With the increasing dependency of wi-fi onboard business aircraft, we’ve seen customer maintenance schedules and budgets that are driven by connectivity upgrades,” said Brian Campbell, VP of Global Sales & Marketing of Business Aviation, StandardAero. “Expanding our services ensures we can continue to deliver custom aircraft MRO solutions fit to each customer’s unique needs,” he further added.
