5 December 2020: In the latest milestone achievement by StandardAero, they recently completed the overhaul of 21,000th Honeywell engine. It reinforces their global leadership in servicing this ubiquitous business aviation turbofan engine.

Apart from this, they have completed more than 650 HTF7000 engine overhauls, and over 100 of these were done in 2020.

Tony Brancato, President of StandardAero’s Business Aviation division said, “While 2020 has been a challenging year, we have continued to meet the demands of our customers and achieve these significant milestones. During difficult times, it is more important than ever to be available to respond 24/7 to both anticipated and unanticipated MRO customer service needs.”

Honeywell authorised StandardAero as their only major maintenance provider for repair and overhaul services for HTF7000 engines in 2016. The HTF7000 family of turbofan engines power Bombardier Challenger 300/350, Embraer Legacy 450/500, Gulfstream G280 and Cessna Citation Longitude business jets.

Brancato further added, ““Business Aviation’s essential services have never been more important to the world and our customers than right now.  It is critical for the entire industry to continue to band together to provide the safest, most efficient and most productive travel options that will keep our economy moving forward.”

Despite the current challenges with the global pandemic, the company has also seen strong growth in its PW300 engine MRO and has expanded its Engine Trading Solutions capabilities during the year.  Demand has also been strong for cabin connectivity solutions and for StandardAero’s airframe and avionics modifications and upgrades, which have experienced a steady flow of business during the year.
