Skyservice Business Aviation has expanded its partnership with Bombardier after its Vancouver maintenance facility was designated as a Bombardier Authorized Service Facility, strengthening the manufacturer’s maintenance and support network across Canada.
Located at Vancouver International Airport in Richmond, British Columbia, the newly designated facility enhances support for Bombardier aircraft operators on Canada’s West Coast. It joins Skyservice’s existing Authorized Service Facility locations in Toronto and Montréal, extending the company’s coast-to-coast maintenance capabilities.
The expansion reflects the continued collaboration between Skyservice and Bombardier to increase high-quality MRO services in key markets, supporting the growing fleet of Bombardier Global and Challenger business jets operating throughout North America.
Benjamin Murray, President and CEO of Skyservice, described the designation as a significant milestone for both companies and their customers.
“This is an important milestone for both our organization and the customers we serve together with Bombardier,” Murray said. “Expanding our Authorized Service Facility network to Vancouver strengthens coast-to-coast coverage for Bombardier operators, enhancing responsiveness, consistency, and the overall service experience across Canada. It also reflects Skyservice’s long-term strategy to build the leading integrated business aviation platform in North America.”
The Vancouver facility will provide certified technicians, mobile repair teams, and rapid-response maintenance support in a region that serves as a key gateway for trans-Pacific business aviation traffic. The enhanced capabilities are expected to improve aircraft availability and streamline maintenance services across Skyservice’s national network.
Anthony Cox, Vice President of Customer Support at Bombardier, said regional service partnerships play a critical role in meeting customer expectations.
“Strong regional service collaborations are essential to delivering the high standards of support Bombardier customers expect,” Cox said. “This strategic expansion enhances service coverage in a key region for both Bombardier and Skyservice’s customers and reinforces our commitment to delivering responsive support for Bombardier aircraft.”
The Vancouver designation also supports Skyservice’s broader strategy of integrating maintenance, aircraft management, and fixed-base operator (FBO) services, while providing aircraft management customers with greater access to hangar space and Bombardier-certified maintenance expertise on Canada’s West Coast.
