SIA Engineering (Philippines) Corporation (SIAEP), a subsidiary of SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC), has expanded its maintenance portfolio by introducing dedicated aircraft part-out and asset recovery services, strengthening its end-of-life aircraft support capabilities and broadening its lifecycle solutions for operators and lessors.
The new capability enables SIAEP to provide a comprehensive asset recovery solution covering aircraft teardown, component harvesting, airframe disassembly and the recovery of serviceable parts, allowing customers to maximise the residual value of retired aircraft while supporting the growing demand for certified used serviceable material (USM).
According to the company, the expanded offering includes the systematic removal, inspection, documentation and preservation of aircraft components ranging from high-value rotables to structural parts. Each component is processed to ensure full traceability and compliance before being returned to the aftermarket supply chain.
Beyond parts recovery, SIAEP said its teardown operations will also incorporate environmentally responsible practices, including material segregation, compliant waste disposal procedures and rigorous foreign object debris (FOD) management, supporting safe and sustainable aircraft recycling operations.

The addition of aircraft part-out services further strengthens SIAEP’s position as a regional maintenance provider capable of supporting customers throughout the entire aircraft lifecycle, from entry into service and routine maintenance to end-of-life asset recovery and disassembly.
The move comes at a time when the global aviation industry is witnessing increased demand for used serviceable material as airlines and MRO providers continue to navigate supply chain constraints, longer component lead times and growing maintenance requirements. Efficient aircraft teardown and parts harvesting have become increasingly important in supporting fleet availability while reducing maintenance costs.
With this latest capability expansion, SIAEP is positioning itself to offer airlines, leasing companies and asset owners an integrated solution that combines maintenance expertise with aircraft disassembly and asset value optimisation, reinforcing its role within the regional MRO ecosystem.
