SG Aero purchases an ALSIM AL250 simulator

SG Aero purchases an ALSIM AL250 simulator.
ALSIM AL250 simulator provides an unrivaled immersion on a small footprint. With up to 3 flight models and a seamless FOV of 250° x 49°.

The AL250 simulator, which is a re-configurable SEP/MEP simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II and TC Level 2 IPC, meets the needs of initial phase training (PPL, CPL, IR/ME).

ALSIM designs specific simulators which are the exact replicas of actual aircraft, announces that SG Aéro based at the Troyes LFQB airfield, France, has bought an ALSIM AL250 simulator. The AL250 simulator, which is a re-configurable SEP/MEP simulator certified as an EASA FNPT II and TC Level 2 IPC, meets the needs of initial phase training (PPL, CPL, IR/ME). Additionally, with just a flick of a switch, it provides both traditional and glass cockpits for every flight model. Since its inception, this device has been extremely well received, and more than 80 of them have already been installed and are currently being used successfully around the world.

“SG Aero wants to be a human scale school to remain the closest possible to the needs of its trainees. The choice of an ALSIM simulator was dictated by the quality of conception and design, and the assistance the operator gets throughout the life of the simulator. I have been an ALSIM simulator user for many years and I did my IR/ME training on one of the very first AL100s which only had a TV screen as a display system. ALSIM is a great company that listens to its customers. The AL250 is the best compromise for starting an ATO because it is a versatile and compact simulator,” said Stéphane Guelin, President, and Education Manager, SG Aero.

The Aeropyrénées school has now given its ATO approval to SG Aero. It has two aircraft on-site, and you can rent additional ones based on your training needs. The president and education manager of SG Aero, Stéphane Guélin, spent two years working at ALSIM and took part in the establishment and growth of the Cholet school.

“We are very pleased to count SG Aero among our customers. Stéphane with several years of experience in the aviation world is passionate, and hardworking and has always been an advocate of the use of ALSIM flight simulators as an essential tool in the flight training process,” said Audrey Jeffroy, ALSIM’s Sales Director.

ALSIM has been developing and manufacturing FAA & EASA certified FNPTII, FNPTII MCC & AATD flight simulators since 1994. The company’s latest device, the Airliner, was launched in April 2018 and is the right tool for medium to large ATOs. Based on the hybrid Airbus A320/Boeing B737 philosophy, it will offer maximum versatility to adapt flight training schools’ training.
