Safran Nacelles and Sunclass Airlines Forge Strategic Agreements for Airbus Fleet Maintenance Solutions.

Safran Nacelles and Sunclass Airlines have announced two multi-year service agreements for the Airbus A320neo and A330neo fleets. These fleets are powered by CFM International LEAP-1A turbofan engines. Consequently, under the agreements, the Danish airline will have access to a shared pool of large nacelle components. Further, ensuring equipment availability to promptly address any in-service issues.

Alain Berger, Safran Nacelles, Executive Vice President, Customer Support & Services, said, “We look forward to supporting Sunclass. As the designer and manufacturer of the A320neo and A330neo nacelles, the airline is assured of having services at the highest levels of quality.”

Safran Nacelles includes its services in the NacelleLife support program. Further, it ensures responsive, cost-effective, and high-quality services are provided. This program keeps airliners operational while minimizing maintenance costs.

Claus Larsen, Sunclass Airlines, Head of Procurement, said, “We are pleased to partner with Safran Nacelles, the OEM of our A320neo and A330neo nacelles. With full access to its stock of end items, we are confident in our ability to keep our aircraft operational.”
