Safran Passenger Innovations is updating its user interfaces to ensure seamless navigation with a variety of XR devices.

Safran’s RAVE IFE now supports XR, offering passengers an immersive in-flight experience with AR, VR, and MR devices.


Safran Passenger Innovations has announced its RAVE In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system now integrates Extended Reality (XR), encompassing Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) devices. Passengers are now able to engage with and navigate the RAVE IFE system, accessing all onboard IFE content through their preferred Extended Reality device. Safran Passenger Innovations pioneers a fully immersive cinematic IFE experience across all cabin classes.

This solution is built upon the RAVE Wireless platform and will be accessible on aircraft equipped with both RAVE Seat Centric IFE and those with only RAVE Wireless IFE. This will enable airlines to deliver a distinct passenger experience uniformly across all types of fleets.
