Sabena Technics has completed the acquisition of Action Air Environment, which specializes in intelligence and surveillance technologies. On the date of the finalization of this acquisition, Action Air Environment will be renamed Sabena Technics ISR. Building on its position as a key player in the civil and military aeronautical services sector, the group is continuing its strategic diversification through this acquisition, particularly for the benefit of the sovereign sector.
Action Air Environment operates from six locations across France and Africa, deploying intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance technologies in collaboration with diverse clients, including the Ministry of the Interior. Their operations are supported by a fleet of approximately fifteen twin-engine aircraft, facilitating comprehensive aerial capabilities.
This acquisition was a strategic move by Sabena Technics to enhance its capabilities in environmental services related to air quality and filtration within the aviation sector. This new segment of activities will enable the Sabena Technics group to provide real-time mission information to its customers’ decision-making centers. This initiative will allow Sabena Technics to contribute to border security missions, humanitarian efforts, maritime surveillance, and environmental protection.
