Rusada and Conduce marks a significant milestone in the advancement of paperless processes within the aerospace industry.

Rusada, a leading provider of maintenance software solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Conduce, a specialist in mobile solutions, during the Airline & Aerospace MRO & Flight Operations IT Conference held in Amsterdam. The collaboration aims to combine their expertise in maintenance software and eTechLog solutions for various projects. This partnership solidifies their existing working relationship, which has already proven successful through joint ventures like the implementation at cargo operator Texel Air.

The official agreement was sealed in Amsterdam with the signing of an electronic contract on a mobile device. This significant step sets clear objectives for future collaborative initiatives. The key focus of this partnership revolves around streamlining operations and eliminating paper-based processes. To achieve this, Rusada’s ENVISION solution will be integrated with Conduce’s eTechlog8 using a Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interface. This seamless connection enables real-time data transmission between the two systems.

“A key aim of this partnership is to make the transition to paperless processes more accessible and affordable for aircraft operators around the globe” said Sales Director, Richard Landsbury. “The combination of our two systems allows users to conduct much of their operations without using a single sheet of paper,” he further added.

To illustrate the benefits of this integration, let’s consider a typical scenario: ENVISION will handle flight scheduling and aircraft assignment. This information will be transmitted to eTechlog8, where the line maintenance team can efficiently perform pre-flight checks using their mobile devices. Once the checks are completed, the responsibility of the aircraft will be transferred to the pilot. During the flight, the pilot will record the journey log and note any defects encountered. Upon landing, the pilot will hand back the aircraft to the line maintenance team. The journey logs will then be seamlessly transmitted to ENVISION for comprehensive recording against the aircraft and its components, including any identified defects. With the data readily available in ENVISION, corrective maintenance can be planned, executed, and signed off using the platform and its associated applications.

“The Conduce mobile aviation solutions have been developed to allow for easy data transfer across multiple airline engineering and flight operations systems,” said Paul Boyd, Managing Director at Conduce. “Strategic partnerships such as this enable airlines to select the best-of-breed applications across their business. The systems integration with Rusada’s ENVISION will provide customers with the real-time operational and maintenance status of their fleets wherever their location,” he further added.
