Collins Aerospace, a subsidiary of RTX, has been awarded an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract by the U.S. Air Force for the development of new training systems. The contract, issued under the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, paves the way for the procurement of various training system elements, including development, production, integration, and sustainment contracts. Collins Aerospace is among the 37 companies selected for this contract, which has a ceiling value of $32.5 billion.

Under the Training Systems Acquisition IV contract, Collins Aerospace will evaluate emerging tools and technologies to bring advanced training capabilities to the Air Force. These capabilities will support various aircraft platforms and system-specific simulation and training requirements, expanding the range of training options available to the Air Force.

In a situation where speed and cost are considerations, Collins is prepared to deliver training systems across a continuum, including hardware and software solutions,” she further added.
