Richard Maestracci takes over as the vice president, supply chain at GA Telesis

GA Telesis FSG named Richard Maestracci as VP of global material supply chain
Maestracci will oversee material sourcing and procurement across the marketplace, with a keen focus on opening new avenues for procurement by leveraging the GA Telesis Ecosystem.

Richard Maestracci has been promoted to the post of vice president, Global Material Supply Chain for the Flight Solutions Group (FSG) at GA Telesis. Earlier he adorned the role of senior director of procurement. This promotion is looked upon as a major move by GE Telesis to enhance procurement strategies.

In the new role, Maestracci will oversee material sourcing and procurement across the marketplace, with a keen focus on opening new avenues for procurement by leveraging the GA Telesis Ecosystem. He is set to harness advanced business intelligence reporting and prioritize the adoption of cutting-edge AI technology to streamline operations. 

GA Telesis hopes that Maestracci’s eadership will emphasize building a robust, global procurement team, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of industry innovation.

Reflecting on his journey, Maestracci said: “The last twelve years in the aerospace industry with GA Telesis has been exhilarating. I’ve had the opportunity to operate in diverse roles, building trust with customers and vendors, while having the financial support to implement innovative concepts without limitations. I am incredibly grateful to GA Telesis Senior Leadership for their guidance and for the invaluable opportunities that have allowed me to understand the aerospace aftermarket at high volumes.”

This promotion underscores the critical importance of the procurement function within the company as it aims to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in material sourcing.

A graduate of Embry-Riddle University, Richard has gained extensive experience working across various functions within the Engine Solutions Team in the Flight Solutions Group. His roles have included managing engine products, modeling, and customer support, alongside global travel to engage with customers and vendors.
