Rachael Caston has a proven track record of senior management and leadership, and expertise in strategic planning, organisational change management, and risk assessment/mitigation.

Rachael Caston has a long and acclaimed career in aviation, including active service as a professional pilot, Executive Officer, and Commanding Officer in the RAF.

A J Walter Aviation Limited an independent aircraft component parts, repair, and supply chain solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Rachael Caston as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company.

Rachael Caston holds an honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering, an MA in Strategic and International Defence and Chartered Management Institute (CMI) qualifications in strategic leadership and management, will guide the organisation in its mission to transform aviation efficiency, focusing on continued strategic, operational and financial strength in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Ms Caston will commence the job, from 1st of September 2022, joining AJW from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) where she contributed executive level guidance to the UK Airprox Board at Royal Air Force (RAF) Northolt. Ms Caston has a long and recognized vocation in flying, including active duty as a professional pilot, Executive Officer, and Commanding Officer in the RAF. Her profession has included broad Business Transformation where she has driven teams with a people centric outlook.

Following a rigorous recruitment process, Ms Caston will take responsibility for the operational teams at AJW and drive the Group strategy in conjunction with the Board and Senior Leadership Team. The Board will continue to lead the business, with Ms Caston’s appointment enabling the Board to focus deeply on strategic initiatives for growth and diversification. The UK headquarters continues to be complemented by AJW Technique, its state-of-the-art maintenance facility in Montreal.
