Porter Airlines has become the first airline in the Americas to implement Tech Ops Live, a mobile solution designed to provide real-time visibility into fleet operations, maintenance activities and technical performance across its network.
The platform gives Technical Directors, Maintenance Control Center (MCC) managers and operational teams instant access to a consolidated view of fleet status through a mobile application, integrating operational data from across the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem, including AMOS, AVIATAR and flydocs.
Alongside the deployment of Tech Ops Live, Porter is also implementing flydocs’ Lifecycle Asset Management (LAM) solution to strengthen digital records, asset management and engineering processes. The integration expands the airline’s Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem by connecting real-time operational visibility with aircraft asset lifecycle management.
Through connectivity enabled by AMOScentral and the Ecosystem Data Mesh, Tech Ops Live can display lease return conditions for aircraft managed within LAM. This allows technical management teams to monitor lease return status directly within the application, eliminating the need to access separate systems or generate additional reports.
The integrated platform enables operational stakeholders to view fleet status, maintenance progress, operational key performance indicators (KPIs), and lease return information from a single interface, supporting faster decision-making and improved collaboration across maintenance and operations teams.

Tech Ops Live has been developed to address growing operational demands by providing real-time fleet status, maintenance work progress tracking, standardized information sharing, and industry benchmark KPIs. The solution also reduces manual reporting requirements while improving the speed and accuracy of technical operational decisions.
Porter Airlines, one of North America’s fastest-growing carriers, currently operates a fleet of more than 80 aircraft supported by a fully integrated digital maintenance environment built around AMOS. The adoption of Tech Ops Live further enhances the airline’s existing digital maintenance infrastructure by improving operational visibility and responsiveness.
“As we continue to work with Swiss-AS to implement new AMOS capabilities, we are gaining clearer insights into reliability, asset management, finance, inventory and resource requirements,” said Gavin Pais, Director of Maintenance at Porter Airlines.
The implementation marks another step in Porter’s digital transformation strategy, leveraging integrated maintenance and asset management technologies to improve fleet performance and operational efficiency.
