Piper Aircraft, Inc. has received the approval from TCCA authorities for its M600/SLS HALO safety system, featuring Garmin Autoland technology and a stand-alone auto-throttle.

Piper Aircraft, Inc. has achieved a significant milestone by securing approval from Transport Canada’s Civil Aviation (TCCA) authorities for its innovative M600/SLS HALO safety system, featuring Garmin Autoland technology and a stand-alone auto-throttle. This achievement underscores Piper’s commitment to advancing aviation safety and technology, while enhancing the capabilities of its aircraft for customers around the world.

For existing M600/SLS aircraft already in operation within Canada, a streamlined upgrade process awaits. By installing a straightforward kit comprising key HALO components and incorporating a new software load, these aircraft can be seamlessly equipped with the entire Autoland system.
