MRO Insider App aces first international AOG support request

MRO Insider App aces first international AOG support request.
The MRO Insider platform currently has over 2,700 registered tail numbers and over 400 provider locations.

The First recorded AOG event in Europe met with a quick response and job squawk completion from the MRO Insider App services.

The MRO Insider platform has received its first Aircraft on ground (AOG) support request since the launch of their European expansion. The support request was for a US-based Gulfstream operator from Italy and MRO Insider was quick to dispatch its services. With the recently added international coverage, MRO Insider users can now get AOG support in the US and over 25 additional countries with an annual fee. The packages for the annual AOG support services start at $500 per year.

Andy Nixon, President of MRO Insider stated, “Thanks to our recent international expansion, one of our valued flight departments was able to ping out for AOG support and receive options over in Italy”, further adding, “one of our newly-added providers, who carries a Part 145 approval, responded quickly and efficiently; carrying out the AOG work and getting the US-based aircraft back in the air.” Andy Nixon goes on to mention, “for a flat, yearly fee, flight departments won’t find a better value or insurance policy when it comes to AOG situations both domestically and internationally.”

Service providers enrolling on the MRO Insider network are vetted for certifications, drug/alcohol paperwork, liability insurance, and other requirements and scrutinizes. MRO Insider now offers the flight departments and service providers a 12 months of service at no cost if the value is not recognized through the MRO Insider platform.

Andy Nixon adds, “our company doesn’t get involved with brokering jobs or being paid commissions; this model continues to exceed the expectations of our providers and flight departments – yet another way we continue to improve efficiency and transparency while we raise the bar for business aviation services.”

The MRO Insider platform also offers FBO service support such as fuel and hangar, detailing, scheduled maintenance quotes, parts, and ground service equipment. Founded in 2016, the MRO Insider app allows users to ‘ping’ service providers based on the current aircraft location, eliminating the redundant phone call and email process.
