Passengers can buy three empty adjoining seats subject to availability at airport check-in counter prior to flight departure.

With the opening of International borders aerospace industries are coming up with newer technologies to ensure safe and hygienic air travel experience for customers. From touch less check-in’s, thermal scanning to vigorous cleaning across airports and aircrafts the industry is striving to gain customer confidence in air travel. At this point Emirates has come up with a unique idea for passengers keen on social distancing. Emirates Economy Class customers can now purchase not just two, but three empty adjoining seats to enjoy more personal space, privacy and comfort on their flight. The bookings for these seats will be subject to availability.
These seats will be available for purchase only at airport check-in counter prior to flight departure. Their costs range from AED 200 to AED 400 per empty seat depending on flight sector.
Emirates have also introduced generous discounts on excess baggage rates, to help customers flying on essential trips take home what they need most. These discounts range from 35 per cent to 60 per cent off normal rates depending on sector and must be pre-booked and pre-paid up to 4 hours prior to flight departure.
