Milestone to Acquire and Lease Back Airbus H175 to PHI Aviation, Enabling Capital Efficiency for Operator.
Milestone Aviation Group (“Milestone”) has announced a significant new agreement with commercial helicopter operator PHI Aviation (“PHI”). The deal involves a sale and leaseback arrangement for a super-medium Airbus H175 helicopter.
Under the sale and leaseback agreement, Milestone will purchase the H175 from PHI and then lease it back to the operator. This arrangement allows PHI to free up capital while maintaining operational control of the helicopter. The H175’s advanced features are expected to support PHI’s critical offshore operations, which often involve transporting personnel and equipment to remote energy sites.

The helicopter was recently delivered to PHI and is set to enhance their operations by flying offshore energy missions in Australia.
