Metrojet Engineering Clark receives FAA certification to support the Bombardier Global 7500

Metrojet Engineering Clark receives FAA certification to support the Bombardier Global 7500.
Metrojet Engineering Clark is an MRO facility designed to augment both heavy and line maintenance capabilities in the Asia Pacific region.

MEC has received its certification to work on the airframe, aircraft batteries and aircraft wheel assemblies of the Bombardier BD700-2A12 (Global 7500).

Metrojet Limited’s Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) station in Clark, the Philippines, known as Metrojet Engineering Clark (MEC) recently certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allowing it to work on the airframe, aircraft batteries, and aircraft wheel assemblies of the Bombardier BD700-2A12 (Global 7500).

In June 2022, MEC acquired the competence to assemble wheels. MEC is currently able to handle the Global 7500’s planned maintenance up to a 24-Mth Check, aircraft batteries, and maintenance on the aircraft nose/main wheel assemblies thanks to the FAA’s most recent approval of the airframe and batteries in November.

“We are seeing more and more Bombardier Global 7500 deliveries in the APAC region and MEC will continue to invest in the Global 7500 product line and offer our customers the highest quality maintenance and parking services,” said Sarith Vaikuntan, General Manager, Metrojet Engineering Clark.
