Marty St. George as president will lead JetBlue’s commercial functions, covering marketing, loyalty, network planning, airline partnerships, sales, and revenue management also having oversight of customer support, enterprise and operational planning.

JetBlue, a major American airline, has announced the appointment of Marty St. George as the company’s next president, effective February 26, 2024. St. George will report to Joanna Geraghty, JetBlue’s current president and incoming chief executive officer. In his new role as president, St. George will lead JetBlue’s commercial functions, covering marketing, loyalty, network planning, airline partnerships, sales, and revenue management. He will also have oversight of customer support, enterprise and operational planning, corporate communications, and JetBlue Travel Products (JTP), an area of growth for the company.

Marty St. George has been serving as the Chief Commercial Officer at LATAM Airlines Group, Latin America’s largest airline holding company, based in Santiago, Chile, since 2020. Before joining LATAM, he operated an airline strategy consulting practice, providing services to airline and travel industry clients, including serving as interim Chief Commercial Officer at Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA. St. George was previously a member of JetBlue’s leadership team from 2006 to 2019.

During his 13 years with JetBlue, St. George played a crucial role in the airline’s strategic initiatives. He served in various leadership positions, including Vice President of Planning, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Commercial, and Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. St. George was instrumental in shaping JetBlue’s focus city strategy, leading the airline’s entry into partnerships, and overseeing its distinctive brand and product strategy. Before his tenure at JetBlue, he held leadership roles in marketing and network planning at United and US Airways over nearly two decades.
