Situated on the southern side of Tallinn Airport, these new developments cover a total of 11,000 m². Magnetic MRO has signed a lease agreement for two of the three hangars.

Magnetic MRO’s new hangars at Tallinn Airport will meet rising aircraft maintenance demand, featuring innovative, energy-efficient designs.

Magnetic MRO, a sub-brand of Magnetic Group, announces the construction of maintenance hangars at Tallinn Airport due to increased demand. This project represents a key step in Magnetic MRO’s expansion strategy. Furthermore, it underscores their commitment to addressing the growing needs of both current and prospective clients.

Jan Kotka, COO of Magnetic Group, said, “We are extremely pleased to share the long-awaited news about our two new hangars located in Tallinn. Since 2023, the number of commercial aircraft globally is growing rapidly. At present, there are about 30,000 commercial aircraft, and in the next ten years, this number will rise to about 36,000. Nearly 80 aircraft are brought here to Tallinn annually, and now we are reaching 100. However, industry-wise, a critical shortage of maintenance capacity remains. As for our clients, they welcomed the news of these newly-built hangars, as they were already fully booked even before construction began. This demonstrates our clients’ trust in us and the strong demand for high-quality maintenance services.”

Situated on the southern side of Tallinn Airport, these new developments cover a total of 11,000 m². Magnetic MRO has signed a lease agreement for two of the three hangars. Additionally, one of the current hangars, fully equipped for painting services, will be exclusively used for painting works. This strategic move enhances operational efficiency and ensures that our paint hangar continues to deliver top-quality services.
