MAAS Aviation, a globally recognized expert in aircraft painting and exterior coatings, has appointed Andrew Hoad as Chairman. Hoad, with extensive experience in the aviation sector, assumed the role after initially joining MAAS as a Non-Executive Director in April 2022. His background includes senior technical positions at prestigious airlines and major Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organizations.
Andrew Hoad also holds non-executive directorship positions at Aerfin Ltd and TP Aerospace. MAAS Aviation, known for its expertise in aircraft painting and coatings, has appointed Andrew Hoad as Chairman. This move reflects the company’s commitment to leadership with seasoned professionals in the aviation sector.

The global MRO sector is facing challenges related to under capacity in serving the backlog of maintenance work that accumulated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hoad outlines MAAS’s plans for continued expansion of capabilities, both in existing markets and aircraft platforms, as well as exploring new opportunities.
