All contracted services will be carried out at a dedicated overhaul line within Lufthansa Technik Sofia.

This new agreement represents the first multi-year contract between the Lufthansa and Pegasus airline in the Base Maintenance sector.

Pegasus Airlines has selected Lufthansa Technik to deliver comprehensive Base Maintenance Services for its expanding fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft. while talking about Pagasu Airlines’ current Airbus fleet, it stands at 52 A320 and 49 A321. the new three-year agreement encompasses over 60 maintenance checks on A320ceo, A320neo, and A321neo aircraft for Türkiye’s second-largest airline. All contracted services will be carried out at a dedicated overhaul line within Lufthansa Technik Sofia.

It supports our goal to be one of the leading low-cost airlines in the industry, streamlining air travel and offering affordable fares to our valued customers.”

Historically, the partnership has included Landing Gear Services and short-term Base Maintenance Services. This new agreement represents the first multi-year contract between the two entities in the Base Maintenance sector. Additionally, Pegasus Airlines utilizes Lufthansa Technik’s AVIATAR digital platform for optimizing its technical operations.

Lufthansa Technik’s global base maintenance network, which includes major facilities on three continents, supports a diverse customer base with a wide range of aircraft checks, including C-, I-, and D-checks, as well as modifications and other specialized services.
