Lufthansa Technik secures contract to Support SmartLynx Airlines Airbus and Boeing fleet.

The Lufthansa Technik contract, which covers more than 60 SmartLynx Airlines aircraft, including 53 Airbus A320s, ten A330s, and four Boeing 737 MAXs, has gone into effect on May 1, 2023.

Lufthansa Technik, a global provider of technical aircraft services has announced that the company has signed a seven-year contract with SmartLynx Airlines, the Leading ACMI, cargo, and charter services provider, for Total Component Support (TCS) for its entire fleet. The contract, which covers more than 60 aircraft, including 53 Airbus A320s, ten A330s, and four Boeing 737 MAXs, has gone into effect on May 1 2023.As SmartLynx Airlines experiences rapid growth, it aims to optimize its service and achieve better performance by partnering with Lufthansa Technik.

The TCS contract includes services such as spare parts pooling and Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) for the required components. SmartLynx Airlines will benefit from an individual supply concept that enables short and fast transport paths within Lufthansa Technik’s global supply chain, including Aircraft On Ground (AOG) support for time-critical components.
