Lufthansa Technik has announced that Pat Foley has assumed the role of CEO & Managing Director at Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon, effective from August 1st 2023. With a career at Lufthansa Technik that began in 1992, Foley has held various positions across the organization, including Chief Operations Officer at Lufthansa Technik Budapest and Chief Executive Officer at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico. He also served as Senior Director Business Development The Americas.

Maria Cilia has taken over as the Head of Base Maintenance & CEO at Lufthansa Technik Malta, starting on September 1st 2023. She brings more than 16 years of aviation industry experience to her new role. Cilia has held various management positions at Lufthansa Technik, with her most recent position being Head of Planning and Engineering at Lufthansa Technik Sofia.

Harald Gloy, Chief Operations Officer (COO) and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Lufthansa Technik, expressed his pleasure at the recruitment of Pat Foley and Maria Cilia for these key positions. Both Foley and Cilia have extensive experience in the aviation industry, making them valuable additions to the leadership team of Lufthansa Technik’s European subsidiaries.
