Liebherr Aerospace and Transportation is expanding its operations in Lindenberg im Allgäu, Germany, increasing its workforce from around 3,000 to 4,000 employees as demand for advanced aerospace technologies continues to grow.
The expansion reinforces Lindenberg’s long-standing role as one of Europe’s key aerospace manufacturing centres, where Liebherr has spent more than six decades developing integrated flight control, hydraulic and landing gear systems for both commercial and defence aircraft.
Beyond adding jobs, the investment highlights a broader trend shaping the global aerospace industry: strengthening regional manufacturing ecosystems to support rising aircraft production rates and next-generation technology programmes.
