Lufthansa Technik (LHT) has opened its expanded warehouse at Munich Airport as parts of its strategy of ramping up capabilities for the A350.
The Lufthansa Technik Logistik Services centre was expanded by 3,200m2 in order to accommodate greater material supply for the new aircraft type.
Thomas Stüger, a board member at LHT, described the expansion as “an important cornerstone” in the MRO’s A350 support capabilities. “A highly modern and technologically advanced aircraft such as the A350 places high demands on us. Today proves that we are well on the way to offer a comprehensive and punctual support for the A350,” he added.
