KLM UK Engineering names Paul Conway as Sales Director and Martin de Jong as Financial Director.
KLMUKE has been based at Norwich International Airport for over 40 years and employs nearly 400 people.

The new appointments are set to bolster KLM UKE’s expertise in key areas of the business as the company seeks to build on its reputation as the market-leading narrow-body and regional MRO.

KLM UK Engineering Limited (KLMUKE), a leading regional aircraft and narrow-body MRO, has recently made two significant appointments to its leadership team. Paul Conway has been appointed as the Sales Director, while Martin de Jong has been appointed as the Financial Director. KLMUKE is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KLM and a member of the Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) Network.

Paul Conway, who will take up his position on 3rd January 2023, previously served as the Managing Director of Qualitair Aviation, a part of Randstad Holding, from 2016 to 2022. Prior to that, he was the UK Sales Director of Lufthansa Technik from 2012 to 2016. He has also previously worked for KLMUKE from 1997 to 2012.

Martin de Jong, who will start his role on 3rd April 2023, has been working as a Senior Financial Business Analyst at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines since 2019. Before that, he was a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young, where he provided financial due diligence advice to various parties, such as Private Equity and Strategic buyers/sellers.

Martin de Jong’s expertise in financial analysis and planning will help ensure that KLMUKE continues to operate with financial stability, especially in the current challenging economic climate.

KLMUKE has been based at Norwich International Airport for over 40 years and employs nearly 400 people. Its services include base maintenance, line maintenance, component sales, technical training, and decommissioning of Boeing 737s, Airbus A320s, Embraer 170/190s, and BAe146/Avro RJs.
