The Joramco and Ryanair strategic agreement builds on the existing partnership involving utilizing up to 6 heavy maintenance lines at Joramco’s Amman facility to conduct 41 checks.

Joramco, a prominent MRO provider based in Jordan has announced that Ryanair, Europe’s leading airline, furthered on its expansion in Amman by confirming a 5-year heavy maintenance agreement with the engineering division of Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE). This strategic agreement builds on the existing partnership and will involve utilizing up to 6 heavy maintenance lines at Joramco’s Amman facility to conduct 41 checks during the upcoming winter season. Joramco, a well-established maintenance provider with advanced facilities and a global clientele, has been supporting Ryanair with base maintenance for the past 4 years.

Joramco have been providing heavy maintenance for our fleet for the past 4 years, however, this agreement allows Ryanair to utilize up to 6 heavy maintenance lines and conduct 41 checks this Winter season.Joramco is a long-established maintenance provider with state-of-the-art facilities with over 50 customers around the world. It has an excellent reputation for a quality service offering in the industry and we are pleased to be announcing this new and enhanced deal. This agreement will ensure that Ryanair continues to have flexibility as to where it places its aircraft for the winter maintenance season.”

The arrangement allows Ryanair the flexibility to choose where to perform aircraft maintenance during the maintenance season. The expansive 110,000 square-meter facility in Amman will accommodate the heavy maintenance needs of Ryanair’s growing fleet, which is set to reach 800 aircraft. This includes the recent order of 300 Boeing MAX-10 aircraft, aligning with Ryanair’s plan to carry over 300 million passengers annually by 2034. These modern aircraft offer enhanced fuel efficiency, greener technology, 21% more seating capacity, 20% lower fuel consumption, and are 50% quieter than previous B737-NG models.
