Jet Aviation has announced the completion of a state-of-the-art 40,000 square-foot hangar at its FBO facility increasing the total hangar capacity at the facility to over 300,000 square feet.

Jet Aviation, a leading global aviation services provider, has announced the completion of a state-of-the-art 40,000 square-foot hangar at its Fixed Base Operation (FBO) facility in Bozeman, Montana. This significant addition increases the total hangar capacity at the facility to over 300,000 square feet, providing ample space to accommodate large cabin business jets. Jet Aviation expanded its network to include Bozeman in 2020 following the acquisition of the FBO from Arlin’s Aircraft Services. Since then, the company has made significant investments in the facility, including a comprehensive FBO remodel, the introduction of new fuel trucks, and the addition of extra ground support equipment.

Replacing a previous 10,000 square-foot hangar attached to the FBO, the new facility features a 30-foot door opening designed to accommodate even large cabin business jets like the Gulfstream 700. Moreover, it includes a heated tarmac outside the hangar doors and on all walkways, ensuring seamless arrivals and departures in all weather conditions. Additionally, Jet Aviation has enhanced customer parking and improved tarmac access at the FBO.

David Best, Senior Vice President of Regional Operations and General Manager of the Americas, Jet Aviation said, “Bozeman is a key destination in our US network, and the opening of this new hangar is the latest step in our commitment to continuing to provide our customers with an effortless experience across the region and beyond. We are seeing high demand for hangar space, particularly for newer and larger business jets, and as we continue to grow and invest in our network, we are focused on providing our customers with the services and facilities they need, where they need them.”

Jet Aviation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of General Dynamics, boasts a global presence with approximately 4,000 employees and operations at 50 locations worldwide. The company offers a comprehensive range of aviation services, including aircraft management, aircraft sales, charter, completions, defense, FBO services, maintenance, and staffing, making it a trusted partner for aviation enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.

Richard Layson, Vice President of FBO Operations in the Americas, Jet Aviation said, “As the gateway to Yellowstone National Park, the Yellowstone Club, and the Big Sky Resort area, Bozeman is Montana’s busiest airport and a key destination for many of our customers. This latest development ensures that we are able to provide our customers in Bozeman with the seamless service they expect from our destinations.”
