Jeffrey Lam, ST Engineering’s new Group Deputy CEO

ST Engineering has announced the appointment of Jeffrey Lam as Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 June 2026, as the company strengthens its leadership team to support ongoing global expansion and long-term strategic growth.

Lam currently serves as Group COO and President of Commercial Aerospace. In his new role, he will step down from both positions while continuing to report directly to Vincent Chong, Group President and Chief Executive Officer. He will also remain a member of the Group Executive Committee.

The appointment comes as ST Engineering continues to expand its global footprint, supported by a strong order book and disciplined execution of its growth strategy. According to the company, the increasing scale and complexity of its operations require stronger alignment and greater collaboration across its business segments.

As Group Deputy CEO, Lam will work closely with the Group CEO to drive enterprise-wide strategic priorities, strengthen organisational capabilities, and unlock synergies across the Group. He will also continue providing management oversight for the Commercial Aerospace business.

Vincent Chong said Lam’s extensive leadership experience and strong business management track record make him well-positioned to help advance the company’s strategic priorities and support the next phase of growth.

At the same time, ST Engineering announced that Kevin Chow, currently Head of Aerostructures and Systems within the Commercial Aerospace business, will succeed Lam as President of Commercial Aerospace.

The leadership changes reflect ST Engineering’s continued focus on leadership continuity, operational excellence, and strengthening its organisational structure as it expands across global aerospace, defence, and engineering markets.
