Jazeera Airways appoints aviation finance veteran Andrew Littledale as CFO

Jazeera Airways has appointed aviation finance veteran Andrew Robert Littledale as its new (CFO), effective 1 July 2026, as the airline continues to strengthen its leadership team and prepare for its next phase of growth.

The appointment brings more than 25 years of international finance and aviation industry experience to Jazeera Airways at a time when airlines globally are navigating rising operating costs, aircraft financing challenges, supply chain disruptions and increasing pressure to maintain profitability while expanding their fleets and networks.

In a regulatory filing, Jazeera Airways confirmed Littledale’s appointment, stating that he would officially assume the role following the completion of all required legal procedures.

The appointment comes as Jazeera Airways continues to pursue expansion opportunities across its network while maintaining financial discipline in an increasingly competitive aviation market.

Littledale’s appointment signals Jazeera Airways’ intention to reinforce its financial leadership as the airline positions itself for future growth and evolving market conditions.

Welcoming the new CFO, Jazeera Airways Chief Executive Officer Barathan Pasupathi highlighted the strategic value that Littledale brings to the organisation.

“We are excited to welcome Andrew Littledale to the leadership team at Jazeera Airways. His extensive aviation finance experience and proven track record in financial strategy, transformation and capital management will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our business and pursue our growth ambitions,” Pasupathi said.

“Andrew’s expertise will help support our future expansion while ensuring we remain focused on delivering long-term value for our shareholders, customers and employees.”

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), Littledale has built an extensive career spanning more than two decades across multiple aviation markets. His expertise covers a wide range of critical airline finance functions, including financial restructuring, capital management, fleet financing, investor relations, strategic transformation and operational performance improvement.

Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions with several major airline groups, including AirAsia, AirAsia X and Air Arabia, gaining valuable experience across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

His background includes managing financial strategies during periods of rapid airline growth as well as navigating complex market environments and industry disruptions.

This experience is expected to prove valuable as Jazeera Airways continues to expand its operations while managing the financial challenges associated with fleet growth and evolving market dynamics.
