IFS has finalized the acquisition of EmpowerMX, a leading AI-driven aviation maintenance software provider focused on Airframe Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) solutions. This strategic move aims to deliver an advanced maintenance management system to aerospace and defense clients. The system supports concurrent usage across diverse user roles and ensures robust governance through electronic task cards and logbooks, thereby eliminating traditional paper-based processes.
The acquisition underscores IFS’s dedication to industrial AI and reinforces its role of tailored industry capabilities in enabling customers to swiftly realize value and elevate service delivery effectiveness. Specifically for aerospace and defense clients, this means heightened efficiencies, optimized production control, reduced turnaround durations, and lowered maintenance expenditures.
