Israel Aerospace Industries and Aerotor Unmanned Systems have signed a MOU to foster the development of advanced drone systems for a diverse range of tactical military missions across land, sea, and air domains. 

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Aerotor Unmanned Systems have solidified their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), aimed at fostering the development of advanced drone systems for a diverse range of tactical military missions across land, sea, and air domains. This strategic collaboration underscores a commitment to product innovation and the expansion of commercial cooperation between the two entities.

Central to the MOU is the joint development and marketing of Aerotor’s groundbreaking Apus multicopter, distinguished by its unique configuration featuring a central heavy-fuel propulsion system controlled through a variable-pitch mechanism. This innovative design confers distinct operational advantages in terms of payload capacity, flight endurance, and maneuverability, making it an ideal solution for various military applications.

From design, integration, testing, and certification to manufacturing, marketing, and product support, the group covers diverse domains, including business jets, passenger jets conversion, cargo planes, aerostructure assemblies, and parts. Additionally, the group offers extensive maintenance services (MRO Services) for aircraft, engines, and components, encompassing heavy maintenance, modifications, upgrades, conversions, and development programs, all delivered with minimal downtime.
