Honeywell and GAMECO have signed a contract that designates GAMECO as Honeywell’s third-party channel partner for aircraft component repairs with a five-year, non-exclusive agreement for MRO activities supporton the China Southern Airlines aircraft fleet.
Honeywell and Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Co., Ltd (GAMECO) have announced a significant partnership at MRO Asia-Pacific 2023. Honeywell and GAMECO have entered into a license agreement that designates GAMECO as Honeywell’s third-party channel partner for aircraft component repairs.This partnership marks a notable milestone as it signifies Honeywell’s first licensed third-party channel partner for airline maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) in China. The five-year, non-exclusive agreement is aimed at supporting MRO activities on the China Southern Airlines aircraft fleet. Over time, these activities are expected to expand to other airlines in the Asia-Pacific (PAPC) region. This agreement offers GAMECO access to a broader market while providing Chinese airlines with the opportunity to optimize their repair capability resources.

We look forward to greater synergies between both companies moving forward,” he further added.
The partnership encompasses a comprehensive component repair license, offering extensive technical support for a wide range of repair capabilities. GAMECO, as one of the largest MRO players in China, plays a crucial role in advancing repair capabilities and market development. This partnership allows GAMECO to extend its component repair services to third-party airlines during aircraft maintenance, aligning with the Civil Aviation Administration of China’s (CAAC) call for enhanced capabilities.
