Honeywell appoints Anant Maheshwari as High Growth Region President And CEO.
Before joining Honeywell, Maheshwari was associated with Microsoft, where he served as President and CEO of Microsoft India.

In his new position, Anant Maheshwari will be a Corporate Officer of Honeywell and will report directly to Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur.

Honeywell has announced the appointment of Anant Maheshwari as President and CEO of Honeywell’s High Growth Region portfolio, effective September 4, 2023. He will be succeeding Ben Driggs, who will be taking on another leadership role within the company. In his new position, Maheshwari will be a Corporate Officer of Honeywell and will report directly to Honeywell CEO Vimal Kapur. He will be based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Maheshwari’s appointment comes as Honeywell seeks to further accelerate its growth in the High Growth Region portfolio, which includes geographies such as China, India, Southeast Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America. His extensive experience and track record of delivering impactful results across a diverse set of industries make him the ideal candidate to drive profitable development for the company in these regions.

Anant Maheshwari has a long-standing association with Honeywell, having previously held leadership roles within the company from 2004 to 2016. During this period, he played a key role in launching new businesses and leading mature business portfolios. His contribution ultimately led him to become the President of Honeywell India, a vital part of the company’s high growth region strategy.

Before joining Honeywell, Maheshwari was associated with Microsoft, where he served as President and CEO of Microsoft India. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing Microsoft’s overall business and presence in India. His visionary leadership and ability to drive transformation helped Microsoft India become the fastest growth geography for the company.

With an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Master of Science in Economics and Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Maheshwari brings a strong academic background to his leadership role.

The outgoing CEO of Honeywell’s High Growth Region portfolio, Ben Driggs, joined the company in 2004 and has held various leadership positions within Honeywell’s Aerospace business. He also served as Vice President of Strategic Accounts and Corporate Development. Driggs has played a crucial role in building and maintaining Honeywell’s record growth in the High Growth Region portfolio. His dedication and efforts have delivered profitable results for the company.
