Hi Fly A330-200 completes return-to-service check

Hi Fly’s Airbus A330-200 has completed a post-maintenance check flight, clearing the aircraft for its return to commercial operations following scheduled maintenance activities.

The aircraft, registered as 9H-MFS, departed from Beja Airport on a dedicated post-maintenance evaluation flight to verify the performance of critical systems and confirm operational readiness before re-entering service.

During the flight, engineers and flight crews assessed the aircraft under a broad range of operating conditions to ensure all onboard systems were functioning as expected after maintenance. Such check flights form an essential part of the maintenance process, validating the quality of completed work and ensuring the aircraft meets all operational and safety requirements.

The evaluation flight was conducted by one of Hi Fly’s specially qualified flight crews, led by Commander Mirpuri, with First Officer Santiago Bicho and Engineer Nuno Garcia supporting the mission.

Hi Fly said its in-house aircraft testing and evaluation capabilities enable the company to carry out comprehensive post-maintenance inspections across its Airbus fleet. By integrating experienced engineering teams with dedicated flight crews, the airline can identify and resolve any potential issues before aircraft are returned to commercial service.

The successful completion of the check flight confirms that Airbus A330-200 9H-MFS is fully prepared for its next operational assignment, reinforcing Hi Fly’s commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and operational excellence across its fleet.
