HAECO to provide component support for Nippon Cargo Airlines’  Boeing 747-8 fleet 

The HAECO facility stands out as one of the largest of its kind in the region spanning 17,000 sqm.

The HAECO comprehensive service will cover inlet cowls, fan cowls, and thrust reversers for Nippon Cargo Airlines’ Boeing 747-8 fleet and will be executed at’s expansive composite facilities in Jinjiang, Chinese Mainland.  

HAECO is set to provide robust support for Nippon Cargo Airlines, focusing on the maintenance of GEnx nacelle components for its Boeing 747-8 fleet. The comprehensive service will cover inlet cowls, fan cowls, and thrust reversers and will be executed at HAECO’s expansive composite facilities in Jinjiang, Chinese Mainland. This facility stands out as one of the largest of its kind in the region and is renowned for its cutting-edge equipment and state-of-the-art composite and metal bond component repair station, spanning 17,000 sqm.

Recognized globally for its aircraft engineering solutions, HAECO boasts partnerships with major OEMs and holds approvals from regulatory bodies such as the Civil Aviation Administration of China, Federal Aviation Administration, European Union Aviation Safety Agency, and various regional authorities across the Asia Pacific. The partnership with Nippon Cargo Airlines underscores the mutual trust, respect, and shared success envisioned by both entities. The agreement signing ceremony, held in Jinjiang, featured key representatives from Nippon Cargo Airlines, including Mr. Toru Watanabe, Vice President of Engineering & Maintenance, and Mr. Takeshi Goto, General Manager of Maintenance Planning, Engineering, and Maintenance. From HAECO, Mr. Sunny Mirchandani, General Manager, and Mr. Chong Tat Nyin, Vice President of Aftermarket Business Development, were present.

In addition to GEnx nacelle components maintenance, HAECO extends its support to Nippon Cargo Airlines with various MRO services, including base maintenance, line maintenance, and inventory technical support. This collaborative effort is expected to foster a mutually beneficial relationship for years to come.
