HAECO Xiamen has commenced its ExLRT calibration service, having successfully completed the first calibration for Boeing Shanghai in early August 2023.
HAECO Xiamen, a prominent MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) service provider, has achieved official certification as a calibration center for ExLRT in China. The ExLRT, known as the Loop Resistance Tester, is an advanced replacement for the traditional ‘yellow-box’ LRT. Renowned for its intrinsic safety features and significantly lighter construction, the ExLRT is rapidly gaining favor within the MRO sector and is listed alongside the LRT in Boeing maintenance manuals.
HAECO Xiamen has commenced its ExLRT calibration service, having successfully completed the first calibration for Boeing Shanghai in early August 2023. This certification marks HAECO Xiamen’s capability to offer calibration services for this innovative aviation tool in China.

We are happy to list them as an approved ExLRT calibration center in China. Many of our customers require calibration to be carried out by a Chinese certified supplier so we can now offer this with HAECO.”
HAECO, with its headquarters situated at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, stands as a key player in the Asia-Pacific MRO landscape. Covering a vast area of 460,000 square meters, HAECO’s facilities encompass six hangars capable of simultaneously accommodating a total of 12 widebody aircraft and five narrowbody aircraft.
The certification for providing ExLRT calibration services to HAECO Xiamen has been conferred by CNAS (China National Accreditation Service). This certification underscores HAECO Xiamen’s technical excellence and ability to meet rigorous standards in the calibration of advanced aviation equipment.
