15 June 2020: The COVID-19 pandemic has brought forth various safety and hygienic measures which are about to become a part of our daily routine. This mainly includes touchless work policies and touchless air travel. In an attempt to make air travel safer for passenger, HAECO Cabin Solutions have launched three devices to upgrade aircraft lavatories for hands-free operation. These devices include an electric foot-controlled switch for flushing toilets, an infrared sensor-based waste basket lid for disposal of toilet waste and a refillable hand sanitizer dispenser, eliminating the need for disposable sanitising wipes and paper towels.

These devices are already familiar to consumers, and we can certify their use in aircraft for integration into the aircraft cabin.”
These solutions are offered to the airlines individually as per their convenience.
