GE Vernova, the purpose-built global energy company, in preparation for its planned spin-off in the second quarter of 2024, has announced key updates to its leadership team. These changes underscore the company’s commitment to becoming a stand-alone entity focused on driving the energy transition. GE Vernova comprises Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses, supported by accelerator businesses like Advanced Research, Consulting Services, and Financial Services.

Jessica Uhl Assumes Role of President

Effective January 22, 2024, Jessica Uhl will join GE Vernova as President, reporting to CEO Scott Strazik. Jessica, who has been serving on the GE Board since 2023, brings over two decades of experience in the energy sector. As President, she will guide GE Vernova’s strategic roadmap on technology, innovation, and growth. Her responsibilities will include leading the company’s world-class research and development and business development teams.

Also effective January 22, 2024, Pablo Koziner will assume the role of Chief Commercial Officer, reporting to Strazik. In his capacity, Pablo will focus on enhancing the customer experience and maximizing GE Vernova’s inter-connected scale across its Power, Wind, and Electrification businesses in key customer growth markets. Pablo, who joined GE Vernova as Strategy Leader from Nikola Corporation in 2023, has extensive global energy and commercial experience.

Strazik expressed confidence in Pablo’s ability to lead the company toward becoming a stand-alone entity that accelerates the energy transition in collaboration with customers. Pablo served as a key partner in advancing GE Vernova’s customer-centric approach during his initial months with the company. His experience includes leading commercial sales, hydrogen fueling, and battery charging businesses at Nikola Corporation, as well as holding various roles at Caterpillar Inc. for over 19 years.
