FL Technics Wheels & Brakes has strengthened its commercial leadership with Kaspars Podins as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), as the company looks to expand its customer base and reinforce its position in the global aircraft wheels and brakes MRO market.
Podins brings more than 15 years of international aviation MRO experience to the role and joins the company after playing a key role in driving commercial growth at Job Air Technic over the past two-and-a-half years.
In his new position, he will lead FL Technics Wheels & Brakes’ commercial strategy, with a focus on expanding market presence, strengthening long-term customer partnerships, and enhancing the overall customer experience. The company said his leadership will also support the continued growth of its wheels and brakes business while advancing its strategy across European and international MRO markets.
The wheels and brakes segment remains a critical part of aircraft maintenance, requiring specialised repair, overhaul and asset management services to help airlines maximise fleet availability and optimise maintenance costs.
