FDH Aero and LATECOERE sign global supply agreement to strengthen aerospace manufacturing supply chain

FDH Aero and LATECOERE have signed a global supply agreement that will strengthen hardware support across LATECOERE’s international manufacturing network, reinforcing supply chain resilience for major commercial aerospace programmes.

The agreement, officially signed at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, appoints FDH Hardware, a business unit of FDH Aero, as a key supplier of diverse aerospace hardware supporting LATECOERE’s Aerostructures and Interconnection Systems divisions.

Under the contract, FDH Aero will supply critical hardware to LATECOERE manufacturing facilities across Brazil, Bulgaria, France, the Czech Republic, Tunisia and Morocco, supporting production activities across the company’s global industrial footprint.

The partnership aligns FDH Aero’s specialised hardware portfolio with LATECOERE’s requirements for structural assemblies and aircraft interconnection systems used on major commercial aerospace platforms. By streamlining hardware procurement across multiple sites, the agreement is expected to enhance production continuity, improve supply chain efficiency and strengthen support for high-rate aircraft manufacturing programmes.

Antoine Gaugler, Chief Procurement Officer – Aerostructures at LATECOERE, said, “Securing a reliable, global supply of diverse hardware is critical to the success of our manufacturing operations. Partnering with FDH Aero provides our Aerostructures and Interconnection System divisions with the streamlined support required to effectively service our major platforms and international sites.”

Björn Anders, Managing Director of FDH Hardware, said the agreement reflects the strong alignment between the two companies’ global operations.

“This partnership highlights the deep alignment between FDH Aero’s comprehensive product offerings and LATECOERE’s dynamic global needs. We are proud to provide the diverse hardware solutions required to support their extensive international footprint and help keep their critical aerospace programmes moving forward,” Anders said.

The agreement comes as aerospace manufacturers continue to prioritise resilient and geographically diversified supply chains to support increasing aircraft production rates. For the broader aerospace aftermarket, reliable access to certified hardware and components remains critical to ensuring uninterrupted manufacturing, fleet sustainment and long-term maintenance support across commercial aviation programmes.
